The Titan

Sometime over the weekend, I read a list of "Hidden Sci Fi gems" and the movie "The Titan" was at the top of the list. The plot reminded me of "Man Plus" by Frederick Pohl which I read in high school, so I watched it with the wife last night.
So, I think the guy who wrote that list had something to do with the movie because it's real dumb. Like "duh-duh" dumb and it's obvious that the whole thing was meant as a way to exploit the star who has done all of this before.
This video is better than the film itself.

I remember watching it when it came out and thought it was goofy but enjoyable.
