Russell Crowe as Maximus Decimus Meridius as seen in Gladiator!
I know its been a while - But just want you all to know Vin's Universe will be back with a bang! The Universe just got LARGER!!! Ha Ha Stay tuned for some amazing stuff coming in the next few weeks!
First up is Russell Crowe as Maximus Decimus Meridius as seen in Gladiator - 1 of my all time favorite movies. I already did the Spaniard Version few years back and this one has been on the to do list for a while. Took me a lot of time and work to get this one right, but I'm very happy with the end result. His armor changes from scene to scene -some call it the Spaniard version, Some the Gladiator version - I just call it awesome
The head was made & painted by Black Knight - Thank you J!
The Armor & Sword were Partial 3D Designed by myself and a friend than 3d Printed by me and I hand painted everything myself. Still working on the final fight version (Shield and shoulder armor but once finished I will print them up and post them here)
I did paint his armor a few different ways to give it different looks etc.
He also comes with a homemade Under-dress along with some leather straps and buckles to finish him off.
And speaking of 3D printing - I will be selling a lot of 3d Heads, Figures, Weapons and Parts soon. I have teamed up with Mathew Robert Ignash from RetroRobotRadio to sell printed versions of his models, and we will be working on making new weapons and gear in 8"mego scale. I will post probably launch the first batch within a week or 2 - so keep an eye out for that announcement soon.
In addition to that I have teamed up with the Black Knight/Jason Roberts to do limited run figures - Our first project in almost finished (sorry no Spoilers
I'll keep you guys update and post some pictures once it is finished.
I will be offering full figures of this version, and also unpainted print kits - once I figure out the pricing. If interested in 1 PM me and I will put you on the list.
I just want to be honest up front this one wont be cheap - but I will offer just kits if you guys want to give it a go yourself.
