    Spider-Man Strikes Back!

Hi, what do you all think of my custom 1970s TV/Nicholas Hammond Spider-Man?

Spider-Man is on a Type S body with a head (painted by me) from World’s Greatest Super-Heroes, an original Mego Spider-Man costume embellished using fabric markers, with a belt from CTVT and a web shooter crafted from another CTVT belt. I hope you like him.

I love it! I used to use aluminum foil to "customize" my Mego Spidey like this. I also gave him a pair of spare Superman boots, since Hammond's boots seemed "shiny".

Yours is much better, of course!!! Great job!

Thanks, everyone! I actually purchased a pair of Superman boots and was going to modify them to make them more Hammond-like, but in the end thought it might not look as nice in real life compared to what I was picturing in my head.

That turned out great! Nice work. I'm going to have to buy one of those heads, I need a Hammond Spiderman.

I love it. This was one of my favorite shows as a kid. I always wished that MEGO would make this version of the character. It looks great. I may have to try to duplicate your recipe. Awesome job!
