Gabriel (who made the Lone Ranger line) had a Lassie line that was well made but had fairly limited release. It just got swallowed by bigger lines at the time.

I googled it. It looks really nice! I'd much rather have that then Duke. LOL

I have two of these in the box back when you could get them for nothing. My original from childhood did not survive. One too many rescues for the Adventure Team. I love this toy and I could never really place why. Maybe because I am a dog lover and we always had one or two in the house? It was back in the day when whatever was the latest and greatest was on my radar. I bugged my parents to death to make sure he was a Christmas morning reveal and sure enough he was. I should have gotten the HQ when they were practically giving them away, but now they're insane prices.
