    Grilling Now

"I love the smell of Ribeyes in the evening."

Picked up some Dry Aged Ribeyes. Just added Salt and Pepper.

Pulled them off the grill at 129° and let them sit till they got Medium Rare

    The perfect steak.

We need a pic of a sliced off piece. Wanna see the juicy redness inside...

And yes, salt and pepper is all you need. Well done, my good man.

I still never tried aged meat (not including the balonie I swung out of my fridge last week)

I've heard it tastes slightly gamely --- like its on it's way to going bad, but apparently people like it like that.

Grilled some New York Strip on vacation in the woods at Red River Gorge here in Kentucky. I brush on some A1 Thick and Hearty and generously sprinkle on McCormick Grill Mates Montreal Steak seasoning. I've played around with different combos of sauces and rubs over the years, but my family likes this the best. I hate to brag, but they were damn delicious.

Add a little Cyndi Wood as the cowgirl and surfing and I think we're in business

Dry aged meat is nothing like old steak sitting in the fridge for weeks. Does not taste gamey nor on its way of going bad. It tastes magnificent, so tender, so tasty. I HATE non-prep old meat, yuck. I want correctly done dry aged meat.

I hate plain past it’s due date steak but love properly dry aged beef. They are so different. One is amazing, the other is spoiled, lol.

Takes quite a bit of preparation, that’s why it’s so expensive..

I seldom buy dry age meat because it’s so expensive. But when I do, Whole Foods is my go to place...

Their Meat and Seafood section is just amazing. My Wife calls that place Whole Paycheck.

Does anybody ever make/sell the crazy expensive Japanese steaks as aged ?

Always wanted to try one but I think it would be cheaper to buy my own live cow and massage her by hand for years

Only thing, after all that pet-loving satisfying effort I wouldn't want to hurt her.

Now that I think about it, I might rather have a Caesar salad instead
