Cletus Kassady is a deranged and highly dangerous serial killer and long-time host to the Carnage symbiote.
Carnage is the offspring of the alien symbiote Venom. It bonded with the crazed serial killer, Cletus Kasady, thus creating one of Spider-Man's most murderous, brutal, and lethal adversaries.
I liked the first one way more than I should have. I only saw it because my son wanted to. This seems to be sticking surprisingly close to the initial Carnage stories, minus Spider-Man, of course.
I liked the first one a lot but man, this looks dumb to me. I cannot stand Woody Harleson - avoid anything he's in. And they turned up the comedy, which is not why I watch Venom. Think I'll pass on this one.
Is the CGI less polished, or is it just me? I mean, I know the film is going to be a CGI-fest like the last one, but maybe they haven't done the full render yet?
I didn't hate the first one. I actually enjoyed it, despite myself, because my son insisted we go and see it. I'm sure this one will be a fun distraction as well.
