The Creature sculpt is very pleasing. I know the finished product will be decoed all fancy-like, but I'm really digging the toyish look of the unpainted test head. Reminds me of those bright mono colored Marx Uni Monster figurines from back in the day.

Also, cheers to whoever removed the "LJN rainbow" effect from the Mego logo on the package mockup. Looks sharp.

(No offense to the designer of the colorful stacked repeating version. It's just a symmetry / simplicity thing with me. I may be a little weird...)

I actually have an answer about the logo. A month or two ago I had a reveal video of Frankenstein, Bride, and Teen Wolf. I modeled and rendered the Mego Logo using Blender software. To go with the horror theme I stripped the color. While taking screengrabs of figures for promotional purposes at the time, Frank Wojo had taken a screenshot of the animated black and white logo. We started using that one for some of the horror figures promo shots just because it looked so neat.

Ah, thank you for that, Jason! Nice job. Really enjoy all of the "behind-the-scenes" info that is shared here!

I have to say when this size first showed up I felt it was to get around whomever had the 12inch license. I think it is great to see this scale continue and I am not only excited about the upcoming releases but I feel as if the ones we already have much greater value in the collection now.

For example, the Green Lantern in that scale is something I think we all wanted for some time, and I hope we still can get the Hal Jordan in the 8" scale.

I have to add the new items have not been hard to find either. I really think this larger line would do well with accessory packs and outfit changes.

                      That's really nice.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

That stands to be the best Creature figure made to date. Loving it!

It's really, really nice, but it can't touch the Mondo 12". Nothing can, not even Sideshow. That thing is insane. Granted, it's $200, but it's literal perfection.

Yeah, I’ll take the Sideshow any day. Portrait is significantly better than the Mondo-doodoo. It’s undersized in every respect, looking like a “Teen-Creature" more than Ben Chapman in the suit.

Looking forward to the Mego, but what I really want to get my hands on is the Dracula.
