He-Man really DOES have the power!

Saw a report that Mattel's sales increased by a whopping 47% this quarter,
and their action figure sales increased by 101%, driven largely by Masters of the Universe!

    WOW!

From everything I'm hearing, kids are going crazy over the toys also, just like my generation did 40 years ago.
    That makes me VERY happy!

Even more surprising considering how difficult it's been to find these in stores. I'll bet Matty wishes they had some of that scalping $$$.

    Such wonderful toys, though.

      That's awesome!

Origins is an amazing line. Retro yet modern. MOTU has always been very kid friendly and obviously does the best when it's the closest to source material. I hope they will learn that lesson for any movie or reboot.

I do have to admit I have some concerns after seeing the designs for He-Man and Battle Cat for the upcoming Netfix kids aimed He-Man cartoon. Hopefully lesson was learned from the She-Ra reboot from a few years ago. It was unrecognizable to the source material and the very vocal online fans didn't translate into toy sales. The line bombed and after the poor sales at Target the line never went mass retail as planned after Target's brief exclusivity ran out.
