Mego Rocketeer: Mint Off Card Review

Mint Off Card decards the latest from Mego, this time it’s the Rocketeer, a figure that gives us hope for more obscure 80s and 90s superheroes, like Condorman. Great video, as always. Loved the flying sequence! I can't wait for this one. When he gets here I will have a pretty decent Rocketeer collection. I have the Funko 6" and ReAction figures, the recent Diamond Select figure, and the old Topps candy figure, which was the closest thing we got to an action figure in 1990!

The figure looks great and I'd also like to see them do Condorman.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Great video as always. Great figure. Will be picking this one up.

Favorite shot is him with Buck and Flash, oddly appropriate.

One question: why the Mego Monsters tag on the back of the card? Just seemed incongruous.

Any chance of a POTA off-card in the near future??

Loved the video, wish you had compared it to Legend of Sleepy Hollow to compare the jacket.

Just think of all the horror scarecrow figures this could get turned into...

Another great video as always. Speaking of horror figures, I would love for Mego to release a figure of The Gorgon from the Hammer film 'The Gorgon'.

Yes please! If Scarecrow sells, I would like to see Hellspite and Kerloo as well.

Enjoyed the video! The only thing I didn't like about the figure were the boots, so I swapped them out with boots I think fit the character better. I wish they were a little taller, but they still hide the short pants.

Great review! I love this figure but did end up making a few changes. I attached the rocket pack under his jacket so the rubber straps wouldn't bite into the pleather. That and I placed some double-sided tape under his feet so when I slid on the boots, they would grab. Its a great figure.

Great figure, Hey Mego maybe you can buy the rights and sculpt of Betty Page that didn’t meet its crowd funding. Would be a perfect companion piece!
