It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..................

Woke to this. One last April snowfall is getting to be a regular thing.

It was about 15 years ago we got snow in April for the first time (perhaps not on record, but in my lifetime) and it was pretty wild. People were shocked, was a local news story, that kinda thing. Just one of those "strange" random weather things...

Now it happens every year, without fail. I think we're almost at a decade of it where at least once each year we get April snowfall. This year we've had 3 so far.

I assume in another 50 years at this rate all of April will be snow.

You know I don’t mind it that much now since it looks pretty and I know it will be gone soon. Plus, it wasn’t so heavy that I had to shovel.

This is all so crazy, I live south of Boston, the last time I shoveled snow was on Super Bowl Sunday, it hasn’t snowed since or enough to have to shovel. Monday we got a mix of wet snow and rain for about an hour, then the sun came out, yesterday it was 72 degrees but in the next couple of days it’s going to drop in between 20-30 degrees.

But when I do have to shovel, it’s usually around close to a foot of snow or more, then the bulldozer (yes, I said bulldozer) not snow plow comes down the street and leaves about 2 feet at the end of my driveway. On those days I’m usually outside shoveling for about 6 hours.

So around here it’s like, we get what’s called Nor’easters heavy snow and rain, sometimes with thunder snow or we get nothing at all when we’re expecting the worse, very unpredictable winters.

Had snow today,it didn't stay on the ground too long before it melted. Heard that Wednesday it's suppose to hit 81.

                  It's a lovely picture.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Definitely a great photo. I've woken to plummeting temps and a freeze warning, but nothing like that.
