Well, if you’re gonna go homemade stuff, then PB&J is definitely my tops. Eat it pretty frequently still to this day.

Now snack wise I loved getting the DC cookies and then collecting the boxes. Wish I still had them...

            Fun reading all of these...

I remember when the "rich kid" at elementary school brought the first Pringles in his lunch box... he was selling them to us for a nickel apiece... and then he brought the first Bubble Yum to school too. I think of that every time I indulge in those.

I miss a soft drink called "Tiger Red"... it was a drink kinda like Big Red.

I also miss the Swanson Meat loaf TV dinners.... back then that meatloaf was in a great tomato sauce.

I'd kinda like to go back and eat a bowl of Freakies cereal too.

I remember when the hostess fruit pies were much bigger... (candy bars too... everything keeps shrinking).

These days, I still indulge in Cap'n Crunch with Crunch Berries once in a while

              Cheetos, Fritos and M&Ms.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I used to love to go to my aunts because she had red Cherokee pop. Speaking of snacks who remembers Andy Capp’s potato fries? And you know the worst orange juice concentrate I drank was Donald ducks brand.I never liked kool aid but loved Hawaiian Punch.

Elbow macaroni in tomato soup. I’d eat bowl after bowl as a kid and occasionally treat myself as an adult

                    Swanson fried chicken TV dinner

tasted nothing like the crap they sell today

remember eating them with my best buddy and trading my dessert for his chicken skins

Also, speaking of TV dinners … I used to go nuts for a Mexican TV dinner...not sure who made it … had all kinda great stuff like refried beans, burritos and enchiladas in one TV dinner.

Also, don't forget "Libbyland" TV dinners

I had a delicious bowl of Quisp a few weeks back. I could almost see "Laff-A-Lympics" playing on our living room TV as I crunched it down. If only they still made Kaboom...

Just thought of another one --- Reggie (Jackson) candy bar (patty)

Why the heck did they stop making them ?

There were the best candies out there !!!

CheapO popsicles… off brand, multi-flavor boxes of colorful and cold treats!

Related, my dad recently mailed me a Nutty Bar, which I've not had in decades. It completely locked into my childhood taste memory, and remains delicious. Little Debbie got game!
