I sound like a broken record, but this week's episode was another great one. Lots of fun Easter eggs I won't spoil, but keep your eyes peeled for LOTS of nods to the MCU and the comics in this one.

Heck, even the title is a nod to the comics!

I stopped watching at episode 3. Just couldn’t get into it.

It felt too Umbrella Academy to me.

I might start watching it again in the near future. I don’t know.

I read that as well... Sad to see next weeks episode is the finale.

Also I'm not real keen on the Wed. release for these. I've been able to catch them generally, but a lot of folks I chat with about the show aren't getting to see it as quickly. It's also tough to avoid spoilers if you haven't been able to watch it immediately as every other news outlet has some story or another about it.

^Apparently they shifted it to Wednesdays JUST for this Friday's official release of Black Widow. But Disney Plus has had great success with these Wednesday premieres, so rumor has it they are going to move new shows to Wednesday.

I understand why they chose the move, but it's maybe not the best... Read this article yesterday and thought it was interesting.

A little mixed on the finale. I liked it, and I expected a lot of setup, but there was very little closure at all for the series so far.

I guess since they are giving us Season 2, they have more of an out than WandaVision or FATWS, which seem to be done-in-ones, but I still would have liked a bit more of a wrap-up somewhere.

Yeah i was not happy with how the show ended but it did set up for Dr. Strange & Ant-Man with the Multiverse and Kang.

The entire series was for lack of a better word, stupid. My least favourite cinema from Marvel yet. Liked absolutely nothing about this series.

I liked the series(Sylvie was a lot of fun, as were other Loki varients), but I needed some closure and didn't really get it. Yeah it all culminated to a point, but didn't answer everything I was looking for.

Agreed. I disliked Loki too. To me it was a bad version of Umbrella Academy. The female Loki was so friggin annoying. She escaped as a kid by stomping on a Time Variance Authority guard’s foot, wow, yeah, just like that, she’s gone, lol. And Loki himself was reduced to a bumbling idiot. He was such an awesome character in the MCU movies.

I found the repetitive scenes of Sif kicking Loki on the groin time and time again highly offensive. Like it’s okay for women to hit men. Imagine had it been the other way around. But I guess they had to go through the Groundhog Day thing until Loki changes the situation in order to spare his family jewels from further Sif karate kicks.

Don’t get me started on the back and forth snore-fest yapping between Loki and Owen Wilson either…

These writers have zero concept of astronomy and the cosmos. To think something like the Time Variance Authority having any impact on the immensity of the universe, is laughable. Even Infinity/Endgame is amusing, but at least those movies were super fun and entertaining, unlike the borefest of the Loki series. In The Avengers movies when Dr Strange says something like millions of combinations to come up with one victory, well, that comment is such a limited concept. For it to be compared to the universe, he should be talking trillions, and trillions, and trillions of combinations in a nano second in order for it to be conceivably somehow accurate. But hey, they are written by comic book and movie writers, not astrophysicists, lol.

P.S. On YouTube, look for The Critical Drinker’s channel. His Loki review is dead on, especially since I agree with him 90% of the time. But hey, you and I could be wrong…we are just Debbie Downers…

P.S. I criticized two female characters on Loki, but please don’t take my assessment of those two as being anti-woman. I thought WandaVision was great. Scarlett Witch is so boss. I just didn’t care for the overall portrayal of female Loki. And while I like the character of Sif (especially in Thor), I took issue with those repetitive scenes of her and Loki.
