A local Peddler's Mall had the Fort Apache playset in the box a few months back. I was tempted, even though I never had it. It's still a wonderful toy, but a huge space eater if displayed.

I would LOVE to have the Zorro playset. That I would make room for!

Marx Battleground. Also a few Marx dinosaur sets. Put them together and you have a great Saturday afternoon of dinosaurs attacking army guys.

What year were these put out?

I have some very vague memories of the Knights set, but only having the metal portion and none of the plastic pieces or knights. I remember it being at my grandparents house which made me assume it belonged to my mother or one of my aunts. That doesn't really work out though as my aunts would not have been into this and my youngest aunt was born in '53.

I got the castle/vikings set in the early to mid-70s, but it was first released in '65, so was available for sale for nearly a decade, a decent shelf life for a toy.

I had some of the loose Marx Tinykins figures of the Flintstones, but not the playset.

                  Just had a Marx flashback

Were them Johnny west figures cool or what ?

Secret ---shh --- I had a crush on the retooled Jane West figure

She kinda reminded me of the Fantastic Four cartoon Invisible Girl from that time

Thanks. Maybe my older brother got them before I can remember. By the time I do remember, he would've had time to lose all the pieces.

I had the Fort Apache set as well. I still have it, and completed (I think) what I had lost as a kid years ago. We'll say it's mostly complete.

I always coveted that knights playset, but only saw a few remaining pieces of it a friends older brother had.

I still own "Battleground" and "The Blue and the Grey".

I owned "Navarone" at one point, as well as one of the dinosaur sets, but regret selling those.
