    Invincible on Prime

I haven't read comics since the 80s, so I had no idea about this series, but the ads were impossible to miss on Amazon Prime. Texted with an old friend who did read the comics, he said he really liked the series, and it was very bloody/violent..

The cartoon ain't pulling no punches in that regard

I really like it. But I got through the first 3 episodes really quick and had to wait, so I've started bingeing through the comics.

Just watched episode 4. Still enjoying it.

The general plot and characters are just like the comic, but they have changed some of the details for the better. Everything flows better and is tighter than the comics. I think the comic was trying to find it way in the beginning, so the TV show has the benefit of understanding the characters and setting from the start. But it show remains true to the style and feeling of the comic.

Holy shiat, holy shiat, holy shiat, didn’t see that coming...

I’m not familiar with the comic book, so this was quite unexpected.

                AND I LOVE IT!!!

                I also didn’t know Walking Dead’s co-creator, Robert Kirkman, also co-created Invincible.

That explains the voices of The Guardians of the Globe, all from the cast of The Walking Dead series, lol.

And good old Walking Dead’s Glenn (Steven Yeun) voices the protagonist, Invincible, ha.

This series is such a blast!!!!

Invincible was one of the comics that got me back into collecting after a long hiatus. Reminds me a lot of the early Spider-man issues, violence aside. I'm hoping they keep going because there are only a few episodes left and Invincible ran for over 100 issues and did a lot in that time.
