I got into Star Trek too late for these, but I really wish I had access to that Enterprise as a kid. I would have flipped.

I can remember holding an Enterprise at a 3D discount store wishing I had the money for it.

Hi all!

I had the green Eagle. Never understood that color choice.

I got both Eagles as a kid, and immediately swapped out the cargo sections with each other, so I had a white Eagle with a white mid-section, just like in the show. My kid self pretended that the green coloring on the other Eagle was extra shielding to protect the crew while transporting radioactive waste.

While I certainly didn't understand the coloring choices at the time, I suspect now that they made the transport Eagle green because they felt that an all white ship would look too bland to sell well.

I sadly never had a dinky die-cast as a kid :(
I drooled over them plenty in catalogs and advertisements, but never even held one.
