    Items I forgot I had...

In-between my last Covid-shot I had to rearrange my storage shed in town due to my parents house that flooded after the freeze. It wasn't much but enough so that the carpet is ruined and any of the non-real wood is ruined. SO I got another air-conditioned storage shed across from the one I have had to move my comic books and remember of my convention items I used to carry around to sell. Well one of the problems with sell stuff from town to town is he often buy items to eventually flip in another town or add to your own collection. Some items I have had for decades and just forgot what box they were in. Case in point:

1977 Wrestling poster I bought at Paul Bausch Houston Wrestling
    1977 wrestling poster.jpg
I still remember buying this poster but because we sat in the cheap seats and I was young I wasn't allowed to go and get it autographed during there commercial break. This used to stay in my bedroom for years till I changed it up. I folded it back up and somehow it survived these many years later.

The next two are from my local Wal-Mart. n there original building when it was just Wal-mart they had there own café that sold some interesting fast food items cheap. They would also tie into movies/DVD that were coming out. I was lucky enough to get the posters when the promotion was over

These posters where stuck behind the comic book rack due to there size and I forgot I still had them.

    Items I forgot I had...

Again some of these items have been boxed away and over the past decade I have forgotten what is in them till I the move.

These next two items I bought off of QVC back in the Early 90's. I was living in Cali and had them shipped to TX. My Parents put them in the storage locker and they have been there ever since. SO when it came time to move my stuff I opened to generic boxes to see what was in them (yeah it felt like Christmas)

First up is an uncut sheet of 1984 Marvel First Comic Covers. To be truthful I have no idea what I paid for this. But for some reason on ebay somebody has been sending cards off to get graded and they have been pricing them at ridicules' prices. I would hate to see what they would price this at:

The second item I bought because I grew to love the Continuity Comics. They were a new group and were fun to read so when I saw this "Limited" edition of Continuity Comics Valeria She-Bat I bought it and again shipped it home. Again I forgot about it, even when years latter to SDCC and meet and talked with Neal Adams forgetting I had this item stored away.

The next was the Super Powers/Super Friends 2 sided poster. At this time my mother worked at the school and took this in to have laminated. Still surprised I still have it after all these years. Back when I have gerbils that would get loose, they found the poster and chew up a small section.

        Marvel Parade poster

In 1982 there was a ad in a comic book where you could order a Marvel Comic poster. So I sent off the money and was surprised with what I got. I did get the Marvel parade poster but it also came with more poster adds. I never order anymore but had this poster up in my bedroom for years. I took it down and folded it back up like it came in when I joined the Navy. I forgot about it for years. It wasn't until this week that I was going through some older stuff I has in my Storage shed that I still have the poster. Did anybody else order this?

Found at this was the Michael Golden's Marvel Universe Poster

Here is the ad that was in the comic book

              TV Guide OC Comic Book

Still going through items. For some reason I have the TV Guide April 10th 2005 with a mini-comic book of the O.C. to tell the truth, I have no idea where this cam from, I never watched the series and this was the newsstand version.

I cannot find any trace of it so it might go for some pennies...

Audio Tape & Book Of The Rocketeer

Well in my spare time I am going through the photos I took in storage shed. Since Mego is releasing The Rocketeer why not spotlight this little gem:

Audio tape & book of the Rocketeer I picked up at TRU many years ago. Some of the plastic has come loose but I never took it out of the package. This just might be listed on Ebay soon.

                          Marvel 25th Anniversary Poster

                          Marvel Comics 25th anniversary poster.jpg

Again today I spent some time going through my storage shed trying to figure out what posters were worth keeping and I ran across the Marvel 25th anniversary poster. This came out 1986 and had the greats of Marvel Comics:
                          Avengers
                          West Coast Avengers
                          Fantastic Four
                          X-Men
                          X-Factor
                          New Mutants
                          Alpha Flight
                          Power Pack

And more Marvel characters that are showing up in todays MCU. It does a tear in one corner and several pin poles because this was hanging in my bedroom growing up. Who remembers this poster? I have forgotten were I got it. I not sure if the signature is real or printed but what I have seen is every poster has it in the same corner.

                              Classic A-Team novel

Going through my paperback books and ran across a book I do not remember getting or reading:

                              20210403_121722.jpg20210403_121712.jpg

This could have come from Half-Priced books since they have a section seperated for TV/Movie novels and I picked it up because they did have a Comic Book series & action figures. Guess Thursday I am going to read it.
