Molten Man 2.0

In 2019, I made a Molten Man custom. My friend Austin made the suit just the way I wanted it, but I made a mess of the rest. Despite the great suit, I used a head that was too large, baby hands painted yellow and a cheap FTC body.

So 2021 will be the year of Project 2.0, where I redo exisiting customs like i did with Mego Hypnos.

Molten Man 2.0 uses the other suit from Austin which was more mustard yellow and pops better than the lighter one. He's now on a real mego body with real yellow hands (not painted). And the head is an Admiral Kirk head (thank you Michael Mego). I painted around the eyes to keep that factory produced look and opted to not add those ugly red flames on the head.

My son takes credit for that idea. When talking about how to do it, he said exactly like Human Torch, but backwards colors.

Nice job on the update, the Mego body with yellow hands I’m guessing is WOZ Scarecrow. It came out nicely.
