5 Awesome Things on eBay this week

Fisher Price Little People Sesame Street set with box- I can’t tell you the hours this thing entertained me for and then my kids played with it. I still have mine but I’m sorely tempted by this being so complete and in the box. Best playset ever.   Our Man Flint Super 8mm film- This […]

I would have loved that Sesame Street playset as a kid, but alas, I never had it. I had puppets of Cookie Monster, Bert, and Ernie, and stuffed Big Bird, though.

I have never owned the Parkdale Superman, but man, I want one. I really love that head sculpt.

I can't get enough of vintage Halloween costumes. I loved how huge the Creatures head is. The actual Creature suit's hands are larger than his head! The off-model-ness of it all is what makes it so fun.

I DID own the Mork! I remember really liking him, but I never had a Mindy, or any other figures really in scale with him. The talking backpack feature actually worked pretty well. And I LOVE the gimmick of placing Mork upside down in the box, and the little cartoon Mindy pointing it out. That's just brilliant and so on-brand for the show.

I never had that Mork, but a friend did (I had/still have the small figure with the egg ship). My sister and I did have that Sesame Street set, and I wish I still had it today. It was an amazing set that eventually got handed down to another child.

They re-released that Sesame Street playset when my son was little. I had such fond memories of it from when I was a kid, I had to get him one. He never really got into it, but I played the heck out of it!
