MEGO Hammer DRACULA Christopher Lee custom repaint by Artist Robert Aragon

Not quite sure that it is worth $300, but still very nice.

It is very nice, but having painted and repainted hundreds of Mego heads for customers, I can tell you it takes about an hour.
I charged $20 to paint a head, so that price is laughable.

Anybody that wants one just like that hit me up. I'll do it for $20. Here's the Phantom I did.

      Wow! Enyawd72, very impressive work.
A vast improvement over the standard Phantom, and much more like the original screen version.
Yes, I thought $300 was way over the top, for little more than an hours work!
Appreciate your honesty. At $20 a head, it's a steal.
Fabulous work, you will be my first port of call, if decide to have any custom work done. Very impressed.

Thank you! I look at it this way...$20 an hour to do something I enjoy doing anyway? That's more than most make at a "real" job, so why gouge people?

I'm gonna call BS on ya there, buddy - looking at the full size versions of his pics and yours, the head you did is *distinctly* cleaner. So not "just like that."

It looks like maybe he should have thinned his paint just a teensy weensy bit more.

                  wow, that's incredible!
I've tried (and mostly failed) painting mego heads myself... they're a lot smaller than they look!!

The same seller is at it again, this time with The Bride of Frankenstein ( $325!!!).

Personally, I prefer the standard Mego version.

If click on sellers other items for sale, he is also selling the new Mego Frankenstein ($375), two versions of the Mego Ragan, from the Exorcist (each at $300), and a Mego Willy Wonka ($250).

If these are selling, then he must be raking it in $$$$$$$$$$$$

Yeah, there's something fishy with his "sales" The same buyer is purchasing these, and they even left feedback for the same Hammer Dracula figure twice. Looks like shill bidding to establish a pattern of fake sales results to boost the price.
