    my latest diorama

I've been working on this one for over 6 months and finally finished it last night.
I call it "Mission: Jungle Recovery."
it's the 3rd in my series of action jackson based but gi joe adventure team inspired dioramas with "hidden dangers!"
very hard to see but there's a black jaguar hiding in the foliage, only visible if you get the right angle.
I included the first mock up pic and a wip too.
the jeep, tires, roof rack, winch, tools, jerry can and jack were bought off ebay. the foliage is from hobby lobby. (who knew plastic plants were so expensive? yikes!)
inside the vintage aj parachute pack is an old red viewer of san francisco tourist images that I converted into a hi tech "probe finder."
the computer adapter plug thing became a "probe interface/data recorder."
there's also some handmade stuff on the front and in the back seats.
    thanks for looking.

Wow, that turned out great, love the little details. Yeah Hobby Lobby lants are expensive, that is why I would use ther 50% of coupon, but they are doing away with that.

I wanted to add a few pics taken in natural light and a view of the interior.
in the front view you can see the jaguar's teeth and claws at least

thanks everyone. I'd been working on it for so long I was almost sad to finally finish it and put it on the shelf! almost.
monitor ep- yes I only bought what was on sale at 50% off and it still came out to over $30!!
ronnyg- the base is a thin but sturdy particle board with a heavy duty cardboard box glued to it for the walls. drywall mud over sprayfoam over cardboard for the "ground" and then lots of time and loads of patience!
thunderbolt- the jeep was a prepainted kit that I "roughed up" and "mud splattered" using a 99 cent travel shampoo bottle that had a tiny mister/spritzer attachment. I used airbrush medium to thin out the acrylic paint and sprayed away. to make the streaks on the windshield I literally just dragged one of the wipers across the windshield!
