Would you buy Mego McDonaldland figures?

If McDonalds is allowed & willing and Mego wanted too, would you purchase a new installment of the McDonaldland characters? I have the original run of them along with the ReMego versions but its been years since those came out and then they never released them all.

I would be a sucker for them and would love to get ahold of new version in actual Mego size.

    Original Ronald McDonald
    Ronald McDonald
    Hamburglar (with burgers to steal)
Grimace & Evil Grimace (with shakes to hold)
    Mayor McCheese (cane)
    Officer Big Mac (whistle)
    Captain Crook (sword)
    The Professor (tool kit)
Birdie the Early Bird (breakfast combo)
Uncle O'Grimacey (shamrock shack & shillelagh)
    Mac Tonight (microphone stand)

I would love to see them made. I would buy all of them. I loved my Remco ones when I was a kid.

I don’t buy the food (or is that rent?) so why support them🤩

I don't eat there either but I remember and collected both lines of figures. I have always like the McDonaldland characters and do have a nice collection of the kids meal toys over the years.

I do eat the food ( though not as much as I used to when I was younger ) and love it. Unfortunately for characters like this though if it's not super heroes, sci-fi or monsters nobody seems to care and Mego wouldn't bother with them. Still would have loved to see more Happy Days from Mego.

I have no interest in the action figures but I recently missed out on a vintage hamburglar statue that I did want for my lawn. It was mainly to upset my NIMBY neighbours. Also, I wanted it to get into the paper.

They did reproductions of the old Mego-like figures around 10 years ago. Based at how many of them wound up at 5 Below, I do not believe they were very popular.

If there $5 below back when these came out I would have bought more to custom. There are some characters I wish I could have done but it is getting harder to buy this on ebay.

Oh I would love to start a Burger was with Burger King

i wouldn't buy them. the Remco once are easy enough to find. not that i have any interest in them. i had them all as a kid and the Mcdonald land playset but have zero nostalgia for the line. kids today don't even know who the characters are, other than Ronald.

now, if McDonalds were to partner with Mego, and sell them in their restaurants, then they might do well

Only if they made Grimace in pink and called him Peptogrimacemo, with one hand on his stomach and the other hand on his lower backside, now that I would buy.

Yeah, I like these. When they came out again about ten years ago, I bought some at Tuesday Morning store.
