So we know that there must be a full moon in order for someone to turn into a werewolf. But does it have to be a full moon at night? Often the moon is still visible in the early morning, so could someone transform then if the moon is full?

That was the original myth of Hollywood. It makes it easier to film a Werewolf at night hinding some of the imperfections. In modern werewolf tales they are shapeshifters that can change whenever they want.

If Larry Talbot went to the moon would he always be the wolf man?
I guess. What gets confusing is what they turn into some go by bi-pedal wolf creature while other transform in wolfs.

I don't think the moon actually has anything to do with turning into a werewolf …
I think it's a monthly thing, sorta like the curse …
It's just the moon sometimes happens to be full at the time the dude is on his wolfman mensies

^Werewolf PMS?
The full moon is a myth, just ask Michael Landon, (Teenage Werewolf) he changed when he got angry or something upset him like a loud noise etc.
