    star trek prodigy...

looks like total trash. Every character looks like a rip-off of other characters. Got nothing but hate for new trek stuff.

I see Thing, Frozen, Short Circuit/Wall-E, some Avatar, Ready Player One.....they're just boldly going where others may have kinda/sorta gone before.

I have nothing but love for the new Trek. My only complaint is that Michael Burnham has a little too much Iris West in her, but I can live with it.

I gave up on Star Trek Discovery. I really tried liking it. I stuck around for season one and two, watched them all, but season 3, holy mother of gawd, after three episodes, I gave up altogether, I couldn’t take it anymore. With the exception of Saru, I could care less about every single character there. The paring of Michael and Tilly are like cavities and plaque, lol. Having said that, ST: Strange New Worlds looks decent, I’ll give that one a shot.

That led to my discovery (pardon the pun) of the wonderful and exceptional The Expanse, now that’s proper science-fiction at its best. It’s 100 times better than Discovery, and I’m being nice. I friggin LOVE, and I mean LOVE The Expanse.

Picard was not perfect, as it also has its problems, but it’s still way better than Discovery. I will watch season 2 of Picard.

Star Trek under Alex Kurtzman is a persistent tragedy.

is this the one where a group of teenagers find a starship adrift in space and take it as their own? i have not cared for the modern cartoons. Below Decks i made it through 1.5 episodes. i do like Discovery and Picard though. they're different but at least it is something new Trek

I gave up on Trek years ago

DS9 was the last Trek I can tolerate

Everything beyond is just a chore to watch - why even bother

Voyager took a while to get into. i think when Seven joined the crew it became watchable

I agree. And while the eye candy she brought was certainly welcomed, Seven was a good character and added another dimension to the show. Jeri Ryan is a solid actress.

Ain't it the truth. Picard started off with some promise but quickly devolved into a dumpster fire. Discovery has always been kind of a joke to me from a storytelling perspective, but this most recent season was a true labor to get through. I finally couldn't take it anymore and just started fast-forwarding scenes with certain characters..

I gleefully cancelled my CBS All Access sub when it was set to auto-renew for another year.

I liked Kes -- before she became trailer park trash

                            She was cute and nice

Jeri Ryan was just huge boobs in a tight spandex suit …

Never understood her appeal beyond the OBVIOUS what she was hired for

did we need anything more than that Mike?

actually, althought she certainly started out as noting more than that, i think she evolved into a very complex character. i thought she was great. never really cared for Janeway though
