MEGO AT BOOKS-A-MILLION

Happened to stop by a Books-A-Million store yesterday in search of a magazine.

The last time I was there a few months ago they had a large selection of toys, games, figures and collectibles.

While they have now scaled down this section dramaticaly they did happen to have a few Mego figures. They had three (3) figures from the horror line.

They had:

A) Scary Stories
B) The Exorcist
C) Texas Chainsaw Massacre

They just had a few of each figure all priced at $16.99.

As the horror line is not on the top of my priority list I did not purchase any.

I also checked their website and none were listed.

Just wondering if these were a one-off they purchased form a secondary vendor or they are ordering direct.

If anyone else has a store near them check if out and post your findings.

I saw tons of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre figure at a Books-a-Million near me way back in October (I think).

Last time I was at B-A-M in Grapevine Mills, TX, they had Harold the Scarecrow and Regan. $16.99, in the Toy / Collectible section across from the new Comics / Graphic Novels.
that was January, MLK Day.

On a side note, same Mall, with FYE, they had Regan, Freddy, Stan Lee and the Kanamit. $16.99 each. So I say that to say, these figures came out at $1 less than that,
but these two stores were charging what the current pricing is now, $17 a pop. food for thought.
