The first one looks like one of the Gerry Anderson's Thunderbirds characters.

It's not Maxx but it looks like a late 80s retooling of a mego body, very curious.

No. There are no markings, as far as I can see from the pictures. Hence my post.

The seller describes it as an Action Man/Gi Joe and has stated:

Tested and working (comes with one battery inside)
It shouts very load something about : WAR/BATTLE/FIGHT (but i can't really understand what exactly as is very loud)

So is it 12" or 8"? Obviously it's a soldier, I'm just fascinated by it.

Seller confirmed that the figure is 12 inches high.

Any ideas as to the identity of the figure with the white trunks?

I shared the talking guy on FB and got this response from a collector who has a few:

"This is GRIF the military talker, six were available, naval commander, helicopter pilot, rescue pilot , soldier tank commander and marine. They all had removable voiceboxes and the uniforms were available separate, figures came carded and boxed, they were also sold as adventure man without the talking unit, good figures, I have quite a few loose figures..."

I went ahead and bought the 12" guy. The other figure looks like something from a bible figure line if he's 8". If he's 12" he looks like a version of Mr. Action to me.
