Not a big fan of clam chowder, and I live in New England, can you believe it?

I just tried the Bumblebee brand of chowder today and it wasn't too bad.

After adding half a stick of real butter and a cup of water, lol.

This thread is making me REALLY REALLY hungry

Campbell's Chunky is the best canned chowder out there, imo

Add that to Betty Crocker cheese-garlic biscuits and you are in hog heaven

Like going to Red Lobster and only paying like 5 bucks for your meal

I like clam chowder. There’s a place in San Francisco that serves pretty good clam chowder, and yes, the owner is from Boston.

BTW, San Francisco is more known for its Dungeness crab than lobster.

I've heard good things about Dungeness crab but never tried it.

Mostly the crab I eat is the legs at the local Chinese buffet which is probably Horseshoe crab - AKA - Alien face-hugger crab

Over here, the dungeness crab practically are everywhere, you don’t even have to go out at sea on a boat, you can snag one right off the beach...

They are basically the fast food grub of the sea world here...

I do like crab, but it’s a tad flaky and light for me. I might be a bit sick of it as well. I prefer a firmer more fibrous meat like lobster. I think I’m a New Englander by heart...

Here in Jersey/PA the number 1 crab listed on most restaurant menus seems to be Alaskan King crab

Doesn't sound like any crab that was fished out anywhere near us though

To be honest, i'd rather have Red Lobster - Ultimate Endless Shrimp

We had Monday off and went to Santa Barbara for some tasty seafood on the wharf.

Of course, we had to include some chowdah.

I stepped away from our table to grab some napkins, when I heard my Wife scream. It was followed by laughter from the surrounding tables. This feathered scoundrel had swooped down and took 2 onion rings from one of the plates. Pretty funny, but I don't think I would have been laughing had he F'd with my Shrimp Louie.

You are transparent; I see many things... I see plans within plans.

I don't eat anything classified as a mollusk, that's a fancy word for ocean mold.

I also don't eat anything that has a antenna. Crab, shrimp, lobster are nothing but poop and decay-consuming sea insects.

I'll pretty much eat any fish, though. But I can't imagine eating flounder chowder.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

Around these parts clam chowdah is a thick milky white, not california yellow, we call that corn chowdah.

Seagulls are nasty, I usually see them flying around the town smelly dump site or visiting the dumpster diner.

Don’t fish eat sea poop too?
