Anybody here ever try barnacles ?

I've heard they're a delicacy in some countries (perhaps Portugal ?) but to me the thought of eating them is beyond disgusting …

Never seen them on a menu, but I'd try them if I did. Probably similar to Mussels.

if you will eat shellfish, there's no reason to stigmatize snails.

Conch and abalone meat is highly-prized from what I've read.

I don't eat anything classified as a mollusk, that's a fancy word for ocean mold.

I also don't eat anything that has a antenna. Crab, shrimp, lobster are nothing but poop and decay-consuming sea insects.

I'll pretty much eat any fish, though. But I can't imagine eating flounder chowder.
