    RIP Gregory Sierra

    Now confirmed, Mr. Sierra died on January 4th.

    Always enjoyed his work and of course, long live The Verger.

    Actor Gregory Sierra, best known for his roles in “Sanford and Son” and “Barney Miller,” died on January 4 from cancer, his widow Helene Tabor confirmed to CNN Friday. He was 83.

    I enjoyed his work as well, I recall him also on Barney Miller and The Waltons. RIP.

        Sonny Crockett's original boss during the first few episodes of Miami Vice, too. Really good at dramatic and comedic roles.

          The Verger was the first thing I thought of too when I heard of his passing... That and his role on "Sanford and Son".
