I would have thought we would have had an upgraded Vintage Collection and Black Series Slave Leia ( both with photo real ) from Hasbro by now given the popularity of that version of the character. Anyway... back on topic. Hoping for a beautiful 8 inch Nova from Mego.

They switched the code name to Hutt Slayer Leia.
      LOL.

It's almost like they phased the character out or something. Other than the Slave Leia lego figure, there's been almost nothing for years. The rumor was the Black Series Slave Leia rotted on the shelves until word leaked out that Disney was done with the character, and then she sold out.

Whatever the reason (poor sales or ideological shift), there does seem to be a reluctance to re-release that particular figure. With TVC's Jabba's Sail Barge and Jabba's Palace, you would have thought she would have been a prime figure for re-release, considering the ROTJ-heavy releases we saw a year or two back. Who really knows, though. Star Wars has been all over the map under Disney.

As for Nova, yes, I'm hoping too. Mego has done some nice female sculpts, and some really bad ones. I just hope they're able to knock it out of the park if they decide to do it.

I'm with you on this, however, I've noticed a trend (at least with Entertainment Earth). While the initial waves were $15-16, Wave 10 (I think) jumped to $16.99, Wave 11 = $18.99, and now Wave 12 = $21.99.

I haven't seen any Mego figures in a local store ever since the final wave that hit Target, none of the Walmart stores in my area have carried them so far, nor my local comic shops. I hope this changes when Target picks them back up, but I'm not going to be overly optimistic. That said, I'm not complaining, Entertainment Earth has been a great alternative even though the shipping charges raise the already higher price point a little bit higher. Unfortunately, their free shipping is only offered for "In Stock" items, not for pre-orders, and I've missed out on a few figures by not pre-ordering them.

$7 more + shipping per figure will definitely limit the amount that I can purchase of each release, but I will still purchase at least 2 of each figure until they start showing up in stores in my area. If/when that happens, it's "Army Time" for sure!

By any chance, was this uploaded to YouTube yet?

If so, can someone share the link please? I'd love to watch it.

Hope I can put this here...

I was getting ready to throw $100 for a DST Scotty and McCoy when, EE is preselling both of them for March... as well as a Vampire, whom I suppose I’d the Salt Monster!
                    Thank you Mego Gods

there is a set of boxed figures, might do that one still

BBTS now has pre-orders for Cornelius and Apollo Creed. And the DC Trinity and CFTBL are in stock there now too.

Fair warning, they have new sculpts.

I thought there was no hope of them at all, I wanted to finish off the crew without using my original figures. Now do I need to buy two each so I can make MM versions? I need to find Checkov at a decent price for same reason.

Any reason why they went with new sculpts, when nearly all the others went with the retro sculpts?
