Very nice!
It looks like they could have filmed this out at Vasquez Rocks. Nice touch.
But am I the only one preoccupied with the fact that Kirk has his uniform on backwards?
Oh that is pure awesomeness. It sure brings back great memories. I remember getting this for Christmas with all the characters. But here's the interesting part. Up to that point I had never been much of a Trek fan. But after Mego broke big with the superheroes, I was getting fascinated by anything they advertised. So when I saw this ad and looked at the characters on the shelves, I became a fan of show. That's happened allot with me throughout my life. Sometimes its the product that puts these shows on the map for me, instead of it being the other way around. Nothing beats good marketing.
I always loved the transporter, great item with great memories.
Wow !!! … this is probably the best quality Mego commercial I've ever seen !!!
Most look like they were shot on super-8 but this one looks closer to 16mm
Would be fantastic if somebody would color correct it.

A very nice print of the original Mego Star Trek Mission to Gamma 6 commercial has surfaced. This playset was the creation of toy inventor Eddy Goldfarb, who at 99 years of age, is still working.
