That Eagle is one sweet toy!
I had a boxed one a number of years ago and sold it like an idiot
Found it in a junk store of all places.Comment

I loved this toy. It felt huge.
They had this great 3.75" scale spaceship in the vault right at a time when kids were desperate for more Star Wars toys. I wonder why Mattel didn't try to re-release this (maybe with some minor aesthetic changes to avoid 1999 licensing)?Comment

Wicked! Amazing toy for it's time. Kind of a precursor to the later Kenner SW large vehicle/playsets like the Falcon. You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Comment

I had no idea there was a commercial for it. I was obsessed with the show, when I was little and I knew I wanted that ship, when I saw one in the store...bugged my mom endlessly...it showed up Christmas morning (I probably shared this photo before...I can't recall...).

Anyone else catch the kids calling out to “Alpha Control?” It instantly made me think of “Lost in Space” - I get the Alpha reference, but I wonder why they didn’t use “Moonbase Alpha” instead? Regardless, it’s a cool commercial that I’ve never seen before.Comment

What an awesome toy. Can't believe I trashed mine when I was a kid.
I remember this commercial. Especially the part about winching up the figure.
I do remember not being happy that the one figure could only be used in the seated position.Comment
