One of the all-time favorite films, "Lean on Me" told the true story of Principal Joe Clark. He died today at age 82. I always applauded what he did in turning that school around. It is almost hard to believe that he expelled 300 students in his first year -- good for him!!! He was an inspiration to administrators everywhere. Unfortunately, today, he would not get away with 99.9% of what he did back in 1982. Still.......great man.....great film! Morgan Freeman did a superb job playing him.

Love the movie Lean on Me
Watch it whenever it's on TV
Always though Welcome To The Jungle was a very inappropriate song to play when the school is shown "today"
A rap song would have been more appropriate
I can't imagine many minority school children listening to Guns and Roses at that time
