Ok the positives of this show.
Tyler Hoechlin is versatile enough to play both Superman and Clark.

Clark and Lois have been together a while so it won't be a multiple year courtship like other Superman shows. We probably won't see a pointless love triangle either.

A new Lex means all the Arrowverse characters can be recast if need be.

The new Luthor is from the multiverse, from what I read when the new multiverse got shuffled his planet was not included, he survived because he was on his timeship?

Since the Kent's are back in Kansas, Lana could create a problem.

Not my cup of tea, but it seemed very down to earth, and wasnt the normal campiness, of everyone looking out of a catalogue, it had that nice grit to it, Im actually looking forward to next episode.

In the comic books Kara ZorEl's identical looking duplicate from Kandor Lesla-Lar. A scientist and grew jealous of her. She has tried many attempts at replacing her & taking over her life but has failed.

That object in Jonathan's room also looks like the Eradicator from the Post-Crisis era of comics (that later morphed into the replacement "Last Son of Krypton" Superman, aka the humanoid Eradicator.

They both kind of look like Kal-El's ship/birthing chamber from the Byrne Man of Steel mini as well.

My one complain about this show is the Fortress Of Solitude. In the Supergirl series they worked made a great FOS that so many cues from the comic books, but in the S&L show its a new FOS that is just an ice cave with a block of ice computer in the middle. It is truly a let down.

^Looks like they are borrowing more from Snyder's MoS than Donner's Superman The Movie...even though the Fortress is really just a ship in the Snyder film.

It is disappointing.

Last nights episode was basically two stories.
Story A: Jonathan & Jordan dealing with football & powers. This is a call back to young Clark Kent who wanted to play sports but dealing with his powers. This was told in both comic books and movie/TV series.

Story B: Lois Lane investigating Morgan Edge and yes it seems Intergang will be making there way to the show. Morgan Edge assistant does has heat vision and could possible be taking after her comic book character Lesla-Lar who was from Kandor.
