So no more Black Panther on screen?

Black Panther was created 10 years before Chadwick Boseman was even born.

With apologies to the late Mr Boseman, but Heath Ledger died, and the movie Joker still lives on.

I’m not watching The Chronicles of Wakanda or Adventures in Wakanda without a Black Panther.

    Doesn’t make monetary sense.

I took as more that they weren’t recasting T’Challa. There will be a new person taking up the mantle of the Black Panther

Yes. The popular theories are that the new Black Panther will be Nakia (Lupita Nyong'o) or Shuri (Letitia Wright).

Obviously, the idea of a successor taking up the mantle is built into the character. Even though they seemingly destroyed all of the plants necessary to make a new Black Panther in the first movie... I'm sure they can find a way to explain it away. My bigger issue is that T'Challa deserved a longer run. I can't imagine that Chadwick Boseman would want T'Challa to die with him. The character was such a cultural milestone. I don't like that they are moving on so soon.

Or it will be a throw-back and will be his dad who was the Black Panther before him.

Sheri did take up the mantle of black panther in the comics so they will probably take that route. Boseman’s potrayal was such a special thing I just take it as a respect thing. Heath Ledger wasn’t the first Joker anyway. also I am not an animation big fan guy ( I did love spider verse) but that what if series looks amazingly done.

I'm sure some will be watchable popcorn viewing but I don't need any of it.

that would be cool, help flesh out more of Marvel's past, like Ant-Man and Captain Marvel have done.
