You can sew them back together easy enough (turn inside out and mend the ripped edges), even with big, clunky stitches it won't look bad if you match the thread.
Otherwise keep those for a custom and just replace the pants as they aren't too hard to come by in nice condition.
^^ Try to find something in the Beige, Tan or Pale Yellow family. As the stitches will be on the inside of the pants, they won't be too visible in this type of fabric.
