is swamp thing on CW different from DCUniverse version?

Did CW edit out some of the language and gore from the DC Universe Swamp Thing series that they are now airing?
Has CW done this with other shows?

The Stargirl episodes on the DCU had more footage than the versions aired on the CW, so yes, it has happened before.

Yes. The streaming episodes were varying lengths...some were longer than a regular broadcast hour would allow for commercials, and they definitely removed the F bombs and some of the R-rated content.

The DC Universe version was rated MA. Is it closer to a TV-14 rating now, or still a mature audience rating? thanks

they definitely poorly edited out language on CW. They also run WAY too many ads. so many ads I opted out 386 minutes into the first episode. I didn't see it on DCU.
