The Fox and Ankh Warrior of KISS

My KISS collection didn't seem complete without The Fox (Eric Carr) and Ankh Warrior (Vinnie Vincent). An earlier thread on this forum revealed that KISS does not own the rights to those two character designs, and no official figures seem forthcoming. So it was a no-brainer to give these 8" customs a shot, as many have done before.

Hand-painting the faces was fun. CTVT has most of the items to assemble pretty accurate outfits, but I took creative liberty with The Fox and sewed the faux-fur into it, similar in a way to the Catman's Dynasty-era outfit. More photos of the figures here.

neat love your set up there. The club wouldn't let Scoob in?

Wow I love that setup. I wish FTC could have released those two characters but now that I see yours it really does not look that hard to do. Thanks!!

Thanks! Yes, my Fox head base was Paul, and my Ankh Warrior head base was Ace. That's awesome you got to see them with Eric! With all love and respect to Peter Criss, Eric was a stronger drummer in many ways whose spirit helped the band through their roughest time.

Rock on! Yeah, it was pretty simple and a lot of fun. Sewing the faux-fox fur was probably the toughest part.
The setup uses pieces of a KISS Kastle playset I constructed - here's a link if you'd like to see more of that.
