    My awesome dvd haul!

I'm not sure if Americans have "Giant Tiger" stores or not, we've got a bunch up here in Canada. Mid-priced department store. I just found the following movies in their $9.99 bin.

    Batman-complete 1943 movie serial collection (15 episodes)
Very cool and to be perfectly honest I didn't know this even existed, I thought the 60's Batman tv show was the first Batman tv show.

Dracula-75th anniversary edition- 2 disc set
Although I missed out on the deluxe universal set a few years back I did manage to snag the mini busts from a video store friend of mine.

Frankenstein-75th anniversary edition- 2 disc set

Boris Karloff- icons of horror- 2 disc set- features the following 4 films:
The Black Room, The Man They Could Not Hang, Before I Hang, and The Boogie Man Will Get You

Flash Gordon-Saviour of the Universe edition- includes bonus Alex Ross postcard

King Kong (2005) Deluxe Extended Edition-3 discs.
I've been pining for this for ages, but used to be priced around $60, and passed on it till I saw it cheaper, didn't figure I'd find it new for $10.

Giant Tiger is a Canadian chain. I got one near me, I guess I should check it out. I've bought a few Anchor Bay DVDs for 4 bucks there before, but I haven't shopped there recently.

There's also a 1949 serial with a different Batman actor:

...and of course the before-mentioned 1943 serial:

our walmart had actually gotten a new shelf that is used for the cheap dvds..and they are organized and all that..so it is a lot easier to look at the dvds now..not one huge dump like it used to be..lol....
