What do a Chinese John Wayne and an Andorian have in common?

They shop at the same thrift store!

Ran across this photo from John Wayne's cringiest film, The Conqueror from 1956,
and instantly recognized his costume which was used a decade later on Star Trek.

This type of vest went on to become the Andorian's signature look.

            Wow, great eye!

I hope Reggie Nadar (who played the Andorian Shras here), had a lead vest underneath, because nearly everyone who worked on The Conqueror died of cancer due to the radiation poisoning they soaked up, filming on a former nuclear test site!

Trelane's costume and Batman's the Minstrel's griffin tunic were also from earlier films.

Neat. Nice catch. I never noticed that.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
