The original Star Trek line were my absolute favorite of all my Megos. I still remember the day I saw them on a spinner rack and my mom bought them all for me. Later I got the Enterprise playset. I thought they were the best produced Megos and when EMCE put out the faithful reproductions, I collected them all too, including the playset, and figures I never had (the Romulan and Andorian) new figures like Sulu, Chekov, and the updated Gorn! I was disappointed with the quality of the later-produced EMCE figures (Chapel, Pike, etc.) and so passed on getting any more. But when I saw that Mego was back and making new figures I bought the new look Kirk, the Pike-era Spock, and Kang. Again, these are the best of the new Mego like I think. I'm not so crazy about the head sculpts I've seen of the new McCoy and Scotty, so I won't be getting those, but I'm always on the look out for what Trek figures Mego puts out next.

Here's my Top Ten wish list of characters I hope they do:

      1) Nurse Christine Chapel
      2) Yeoman Janice Rand
      3) Lt. Kevin Riley
      4) Yeoman Tonia Barrows (from Shore Leave)
      5) Ambassador Sarek and Amanda (two-pack)
      6) Harry Mudd
      7) Cyrano Jones (with about 30 tribbles of various colors!)
      8) Kor
      9) Galt (from Gamesters of Triskelion, along with the three Gamester Brains!)
      10) Ruk (from What Are Little Girl's Made Of)

They made Kor. He's in wave 15 and was in the Topps offerings.

Thank you for posting! To whomever is doing these Klingon Trek sculpts, well done ... Kang and Kor both bear a striking resemblance to the actors! Will definitely be getting this one!

Klingon Kor is being reissued by Mego as a variant, supposedly at the end of this month. Does anyone know how the variant Kor will differ from the Topps Kor (which was limited edition and no longer available)?

This is the non-Topps Kor. I think he's taller, has different material for the pants and has a different card back. The font and some color on the front of the card are also different. He also looks to have a different skin tone. Looks like the ranking on his sash is a different color. It also appears that his belt is sewn down around his waist. The Topps one is not. I wish I had one in-hand to compare the two. Just going off the pictures isn't that accurate.

I notice that the card says "26 points of articulation" ... don't these Megos usually say 14 points of articulation? Is there something special about Klingon physiology we don't know?

It's the new bandless body, which is a totally different body. Way more articulation.

I got the non-Topps Mego Kor the Klingon. It's awesome! One of my favorites over the last several years. The glittery pants appear somewhat gold in color.

Totally agree with U. I think Kor is great. The height difference is not so dramatic when compared to Kang. Personally, when the difference is so minimal, Topps silver pants vs Wave 15 gold pants, the Topps Kor was a sucker buy. I bought 2 of those dwarf like Kors :(.

Re. the height difference between Klingons - this tracks, as Michael Ansara was a very tall man and John Colicos was on the short side! Colicos probably saw eye-to-eye pretty well with Shatner. As far as Trek wants, I really, really, really want Sybok! The character was only made once, to my knowledge, in 1989 by Galoob. With Sybok now coming to Strange New Worlds, perhaps we'll get a Mego. But I'd like it to be the movie version.
