Classic James Bond?

I know this question has been brought up a lot in the past but I am wondering if anyone has ever asked ReMego if classic James Bond was a possibility?

I get why they wouldn't be able to probably do the current characters but what about Connery and the classic villains? They already had the license for Moonraker so even if we could get a new Jaws, Roger Moore and Drax I would be happy.

Right? I don't think there is anything I have ever wanted more than a classic Connery in white tuxedo jacket, OddJob, Goldfinger, Emilio Largo, Viona Volpe, Blofeld and Helga Brandt.

A friend of mine went after the license for 8" figures a little while ago, a lot of moving parts. 1) The Bond people now want the licensed items to be premium, they want a big price point. Bond means high ticket items. 2) At the time, no actor likenesses were available (this can change) and would have to be negotiated separately. 3) They finally agreed on a concept where you made an Austin Martin and you included a (generic) figure. It would cost a fortune in tooling.

I'm pretty sure ALL the E.P. Bond figures were smaller than Mego's so clothes and accessories are probably off the table … For sculpts, they were horrendously bad.

A James Bond Mego line would make for some great figures, and plenty of characters for the line to run a long time.
