    Anybody else remember The Uncle Floyd Show ?

    Talked to Floyd a few times around the area

    Was a regular at the Stanhope House .. my nephew was the cook

    Just had some flashbacks of his "wild west city" commercials

    HUGO, man of a thousand faces !!!

    I've never even heard of it. Sounds like something I would have watched and enjoyed at the time. Back then we all know how it went. You had 3-4 channels and whatever was on, was on.

          Shame nobody remembers Uncle Floyd

          Was one of John Lennon's favorite shows while living in NYC

          Was even referenced in a David Bowie song, "Slip Away"

                  Cap'n Fork, Oogie, and the bands! Bon Jovi! The Smithereens! Great times - made me proud to be from Joisey!

                      Uncle Floyd was syndicated on Ch. 29 in Philly in the 80s. I remember he had some great bands on, including the Ramones!
                      WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.
