Swamp Thing at last! Although I would have preferred more of a Wrightson approach to the character, I'm pleased to have the big guy in my collection. Great head sculpt, and the suit looks fantastic in hand. The hands are not as off color as they seem in my photos. All in all, a take very much in keeping with how Mego might have produced him back in the day.

      Mine came today as well.

He is retro-AWESOME. Joints are tight and the bodysuit is good quality. We all know FTC can be hit or miss, but this guy is a home run.

He now joins my ridiculous “Assault on the Wayne Foundation” display:

Could someone who has Swamp Thing take a photo of him next to a Hulk or another muscle figure please?

to hide the exposed neck i wrapped marvel legends' "neon green power effects" and it looks fine. again, the right arm is kind of just hanging there and cannot pose but otherwise a nice figure.

Other than being broken, it's great!

Ah I just got mine in the mail today. Wonderful, and one of the best. I think the last CTVT I got was Hawkman, I figured Mego was back not sure of how it all will fit in the long run. Anyhow can anyone be kind enough to let me know which "Must Haves" came out between Hawkman and Swamp Thing? Did I hear theres a WonderWoman Lynda Carter? Thanks as always I am very happy to get this today.

I received my FTC Swamp Thing yesterday. His arm is messed up as if the suit is too tight and popping the arm(s) out of joint.
"I thought they didn't allow no bathin' suits in here."

                            He's probably strung too tight.

That's what I'm thinking, but I don't want to have to take him apart in an attempt to re-string him... he seems ok when I remove the suit and pop the arms in place, but as soon as the suit is back on and done up in the back one or sometimes both arms are loose again.

There's an easy fix for that. When the factory hooked the arms on, they turned the arms the wrong way twisting the band, resulting in the spring effect. Pull the outfit off the arms and turn both the arms counter clockwise. This will alleviate the spring action and they'll operate and pose as normal. Thats how I received mine and that immediately fixed him.
