Toy Distributor License 2 Play sent out an advanced notice of Mego’s Wave 10, confirming a lot of rumours that have buzzed around the internet for some time. That is an exceptional list. So much I am excited about... although they could have only done Willy Wonka and this wave would still have been a winner!

Any idea when we may get our first sneak peak at these?

Perhaps all the others are moving to wave 11, but not far behind?

This is a nice assortment. I won't "Collect 'em all," but there's 6 or 7 I'm likely to add to the collection. Very fun.

Interesting that I don't recall any fanfare over getting Avatar. That's a very popular license right now, and Mego's 8" figures will actually be cheaper than the 7" Diamond figures.

It was a bit of a surprise, apparently, a retailer specifically asked for it. It will probably do quite well.

I am curious about the Hammer Dracula. Do they have the rights to Christopher Lee’s likeness or will it be an approximation like some of the of figures?

They have Lee's likeness. My friend worked on it and I saw it at his studio.

^That figure is a dream come true... or it will be! Is it based on Scars of Dracula, which seems to be the only film not entirely entangled in legal/distribution issues?

Now we need Peter Cushing as Van Helsing – an official Mego release that is affordable and readily available. I also wouldn't mind a Cushing/Lee combo from The Curse of Frankenstein.
