What happenen to Gandalf?

Hi,

Does anybody know when we can expect the announced Gandalf mego? I know he was delayed and not part of wave 8. But we haven't heard anything since then.
I was really hoping to see more LOTR figures. Gandalf, Frodo and a Galadriel would be really nice.

I do know that Gandolph also had to be resculpted as rooted hair looked really weird. That didn't help either.

They are the two I always see hanging out at walmart. Now it seems like Kirk and Khan are backing up too.

My local Walmart has had only a bunch of Legolas and Aragorn as their only Mego stock for a few months now.

I wish the Walmart near me would replenish Kirk and Khan. I really want them. But nah, been nothing but tons of Legolas and Aragorn for quite a while.

Well, that may be the case in your one store but I know on a national level, those characters have had replenishment orders and have sold quite well, unlike the LOTR.

Khan and Kirk were in the first assortment, then the second assortment included Khan, Kirk and Spock.

The tradeoff would be the custom tooling. Even if you used the "child body", Frodo would require custom feet. Smeagol would probably require an entirely new body to do him right. I assume that is why they started with Aragorn and Legolas.
