Well, I'm a sucker for Aliens, so I'll buy Saru...but basing a line of figures off a TV series with rating so horribly low, seems like a bad idea.😶

Is he going to be available in the US or just UK?

I have no interest in Discovery but I am interested in this figure.

Yeah! I'm in that boat too, he's a neat alien.

Same. Plus that's Doug Jones under that make-up and I've become quite a fan of the man, along with having A LOT of action figures of him!

While I too think it's clumsily worded, I'm fairly certain "the first Star Trek Discovery figure in the Mego range which will launch exclusively in the UK with B&M Stores" means 'in the UK the first Star Trek Discovery figure in the Mego range will have an exclusive launch in B&M Stores.' The original text is from Mego president Joel Rosenzweig, which was (also?) on facebook.

About a month ago, Joel posted, in part, "Look for products to hit Walmart store shelves around the first week in October, with a combination of some wave 8 as well as a few first to launch opportunities, including Universal’s Creature from the Black Lagoon, Chucky and Saru from Star Trek Discovery." I've taken this to mean Wally World US has a first to market window on wave nine, in much the same fashion B&M Stores has it for at least Saru.

Interestingly, as of this morning, wave nine remains unannounced and unsolicited to hobby. I sure do hope the Creature is available wholesale, as even with WW expanding Mego to 2000 stores, I'd rather get a case with no chasing.

This is just a UK press release about the figure, I'm certain it will be available in North America. I know it's confusing but it is what it is.

After many decades, Michael Burnham will be the second female in the Mego Trek universe!

Looks great! I'm also thinking he can be customized to make a Lt. Arex, too.
                            It's all good!

I thought that too, glad another TOS fan considered it.
