    1976 Horsman Police Woman Catalog

It may seem commonplace now but the mid-seventies TV series “Police Woman” was groundbreaking television. Angie Dickinson played “Pepper” Anderson, a no-nonsense lady cop and she became the first female lead of an action series (thankfully not the last, a bit of a Xena fan here). Horsman dolls sought to capitalize on this powerful new […]

Interesting! Looks like a fun line of accessories for the figure. I bet that Undercover Mission mask has been mistaken for Mego's Robin's mask a few times over the years.

I recall the doll on the shelves but not outfits--are these adapted tooling form Model Toy's Daredevil series? The craftsmanship on that line is excellent.

Neat line. I remember seeing them in Christmas catalogs but not in stores.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I googled the Model Toys Havoc line and my first thought was of Purdey from the New Avengers. It's as if she got her own line of toys! Did anyone see the motorcycle she got? Wow!

I didn't watch the show when I was young, and it wasn't syndicated much in my area growing up. I seem to recall it was on at 10 o'clock on a school night. Not really a kid's show. Angie Dickenson was pretty, but I could tell she was an older lady (to a kid anyone over 30 was old! lol), and I don't remember any of the other kids in the school yard talking about the show the day after. Little House on the Prairie, yes. Six Million Dollar Man, yes. But not Police Woman, so I'm surprised they tried to market a doll to little girls when they didn't watch the show. The undercover outfits look cool. Reminds me of the Charlie's Angels undercover outfits which came out a couple years later.
I finally got to see the first season years later as an adult when it came out on DVD, and the other seasons when the Decades channel did a weekend binge. It was a little gritty and tackled some adult subject matter not meant for kids.
