Hasbro to bring back classic RPG board game Heroquest through Haslabs

    Heroquest info starts at 1:28.

    Fire of wrath!

    First look.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I still have my original copy of HeroQuest! I could never get my friends to play my DC Roleplaying Game (too involved), but I had two friend groups who I played HeroQuest with! We painted our figures as well!

This is great news! I have been thinking about playing the original with my daughter, and if they make new material to go with it, that will be great!

Cool, but what's the deal with the crowdfunding? One of the world's largest toy companies needs a fundraiser to make a board game?

My guess is because TRU us gone and Walmart will not to carry $100 board games. Haslab looks like Hasbro's way of producing higher end items that would be risky or impossible to make it to mass retail of Walmart and Target.

The game hit its funding today.
