The Goonies movie behind the scenes

One of my favorite movie is the Goonies. This behind the scenes clip is all period and shot on set during the filming.

There's some scenes and shots that didn't make it into the movie in this as well.

It's a short watch, but worth your time and I think Richard Donner is kind of a jerk a little, LOL.

That was great. I think Donner is just from that older generation that didn't sugar coat things for kids, and busted their balls more than most adults would do now. Having talked to him on a podcast (which still floors me to this very day), I have to say he is the most unassuming, down to Earth guy you could ever want to talk to, despite the legendary films he's directed.

And I'm glad this shows HIM as the director of The Goonies. A lot of folks erroneously think Spielberg directed the film. This shows just how hands-on Donner was.

I think Donner was fine and Chris that's awesome you spoke with him on a podcast. He had a ton of young people to direct in this movie and I'm sure they were all a handful.
