    Cobra Kai season 2

Man, I love that show. Sure, a lot is about today’s kids, but the presence of Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence is so nostalgic.

    I hate LaRusso...but I love Johnny Lawrence...

I'm ready to watch this now as well since it is on Netflix. I'm on season 5 of Breaking Bad(my umpteenth viewing) and may go with Cobra Kai after this.

I don’t want to give spoilers away...but it’s not perfect. Once you finish watching...we can discuss further.

I do have a couple of gripes about it.

        But still enjoyed it...

working my way through season 1 at this point. was Johnny in a coma for the past 30 years or something? doesn't know what the internet is, doesn't know what autism is. still thinks his 80's head band is cool, lol. it's like he is in a timewarp for 1984

I'm a couple of episodes into season 2 now. Really liking it a lot!

I agree, Johnny just kind of didn't move on

Johnny represents someone that nearly all of us know one of. The highschool jock who could never recreate his glory years so he never moved on. The guy still wearing his varsity jacket everyday when he is in his 40s. I've known a couple of Johnny's through the years. My wife's late husband was one of them. He crawled into a bottle and never moved past the 80's. All of that being said, I really like Johnny in this show. I'm finding myself rooting more for him than I am for Daniel. How many of us can relate to Daniel's situation?

johnny's lack of understanding of the current world is good for laughs. some of the stuff he says is just too funny

I could say the same for Daniel honestly... Both are pretty detached from reality.

I will say season 2 isn't as compelling as season 1 was for me. I'm only about halfway through it but the writing is a little off.

true but with Daniel it is not on the same scale. Plus Daniel was always kind of socially clueless

wow. the Season 2 finale was all kinds of awesome. a bit predictable and far fetched, but still fun. can't wait for S3
